Você pode comunicar que a bateria está acabando, de diversos modos:

Mas se não deu tempo de avisar e você precisa se justificar por ter se ausentado por alguns minutos porque a bateria acabou, diga: 

I’m sorry! My phone ran out of battery!

Isso também pode ser dito com relação à bateria de um carro: 

The car’s got a flat battery.

Flat battery (British English) / dead battery (American English) = one that has no more electricity in it.

The battery is dead so we’ll have to use the computer.
